As Film Studies majors and minors, Webster students engage in courses that move from a general survey of the craft to in-depth studies of specific genres, filmmakers and theories. Upper-level courses focus on detailed analysis of film genres, filmmakers and international cinema. The Film Studies degree curriculum builds upon basic film production courses that can be a launching pad for careers in film writing, producing and directing.
