Our vision of the world has its origins in the Long Medieval period, so studying this era (beginning in Late Antiquity and reaching into modern times) provides an introduction to the past in all its dimensions: linguistic, cultural, historical, political, philosophical and religious. In addition to introductory courses in medieval civilization, the programs delve into history, classical studies, music, English, English and French literatures, theater and religious studies.
