How do the conditions where people live, learn, work, and play affect their health? Our MS students immerse themselves in that research—particularly around social inequities due to race and ethnicity, class, gender and sexuality. They also explore sociological subfields such as urban development, migration, and social movements. Work side-by-side with faculty on cutting-edge research to improve society’s health and well-being.
