• M.SC. Electrical Engineering - University of Saskatchewan

Graduate students conduct research under the supervision of a faculty member in one of four research areas. Our research programs and laboratories are supported by four technologists, and also by staff from the Engineering Computer Centre. The department is connected to other divisions across campus, including Engineering Physics and Biomedical Engineering. It is composed of 21 faculty and eight technical and administrative support staff. Five faculty members in this complement hold chair positions: Tony C.Y. Chung (NSERC/SaskPower Senior Industrial Research Chair in Smart Grid Technologies), Ha Nguyen (NSERC/Cisco Systems Research Chair in Mining Solutions), Safa Kasap (Centennial Enhancement Chair in Photonics), Brian Berscheid (Barbhold Chair in Information Technology), and Xiaodong Liang (Canada Research Chair in Technology Solutions for Energy Secuirty in Remote, Northern, and Indigenous Communities).
