As an English Literature student at Bangor, you will study the full range of literature from the medieval to the contemporary and develop your individual interests. In Year One, you will gain highly employable key skills in critical analysis, alongside a grounding in major literary works and popular genres. In Years Two and Three, there is an exciting choice of modules focused on historical periods and those focused on genres and topics (e.g. Arthurian, Fantasy, Welsh writing in English, Dystopian), and the chance to develop your own research project.

| Academic Reqirements | Academic Requirement Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 2:2 equivalent Students with a study gap of 2 years or more will be required to provide two letters of recommendation (i.e. One Academic Reference and one employer reference) English Requirement 70% in English for all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board) and a Medium of Instruction Letter (MOI) from within 2 years of graduation. For students from Punjab, IELTS is mandatory. If study gap is 2 years or more, IELTS and two letters of recommendation will be required (One Academic and One Employer) |
